Shooting: Indian shooters fail to qualify for men’s 10m air pistol final

India’s Kamaljeet, Aakash Bhardwaj and Kedarling B Uchaganve all missed out on the men’s 10m air pistol final. Kamaljeet finished 9th with 580-18x, while Aakash Bhardwaj was 11th with 579-20x and Kedarling B Uchaganve 35th with 568-15x.

Kamaljeet narrowly missed the eight-shooter final, finishing just one point behind the qualification mark. The trio also finished fourth in the 10m air pistol team final with 1727-53x.

Shooting: Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Parinaaz Dhaliwal qualify for mixed skeet final

India’s Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal advanced to the mixed skeet final after scoring 138/150 to finish fourth in qualification.

Both shooters were part of India’s medal-winning skeet teams yesterday, with Olympian Anantjeet helping the men’s team win bronze and Parinaaz part of the women’s trio that also secured bronze.

India’s Anamika KA finished second in the heptathlon high jump with a best effort of 1.74m, earning 903 points. Pooja was joint fourth with a best effort of 1.71m, adding 867 points.

Anamika moved up to sixth in the overall standings with 1771 points, while Pooja sits ninth with 1761 points.

Squash: All-Indian mixed doubles clash underway

An all-Indian clash is underway in squash mixed doubles, with Suraj Chand and Shameena Riaz facing Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar.
